Ormewood Park is a unique and charming neighborhood located east of downtown Atlanta directly between Grant Park and East Atlanta in Fulton County.
Before this area was turned into a neighborhood full of great homes, it was primarily used for milk and pecan farming. The area was named after Aquilla J. Orme, who was an official from the Atlanta Electric Light and Trolley Company in the 1900s. Thanks to Orme, Ormewood Park became a streetcar suburb and a fantastic place to live.
